Flutter app stuck before store approval

An app that works in the demo but keeps getting rejected — finished, hardened and taken through review.

This is a representative example of a project type we take on — a typical situation, approach and scope — not a description of a specific client engagement. Timelines are indicative; yours will depend on the details.

The situation

A freelancer delivered an app that looks complete. It has been rejected by App Review more than once, crashes on older devices, and the Firebase security rules allow any signed-in user to read everyone's data. The freelancer has moved on.

How we approach it

  • Audit the code, the Firebase rules and the rejection history before promising a date.
  • Fix data security first; it is the problem the owner usually doesn't know about.
  • Work through the store guidelines point by point, including account deletion and privacy labels.
  • Add crash reporting so problems after launch are visible immediately.

What gets delivered

  • Written audit with a fixed-price completion plan
  • Secured data rules
  • Crash and performance fixes
  • Approved store releases
