Cross-platform consumer mobile app

One codebase shipping to the App Store and Google Play, with accounts, push notifications and in-app purchases.

This is a representative example of a project type we take on — a typical situation, approach and scope — not a description of a specific client engagement. Timelines are indicative; yours will depend on the details.

The situation

A founder has a validated idea and a budget that doesn't stretch to two separate native teams. The app needs to feel native, work on a poor connection, and get through both stores' review processes on the first or second attempt.

How we approach it

  • Prototype the core loop in a clickable design before writing production code.
  • Build once in React Native, dropping to native code only where the platform demands it.
  • Design for offline and flaky networks rather than treating them as edge cases.
  • Prepare store listings, privacy declarations and review notes alongside the code.

What gets delivered

  • iOS and Android apps
  • Back-end API and admin panel
  • Push notifications and in-app purchases
  • Store submission and release process
